Thought I’d bought a chilli pepper plant, but I’m not sure if it was mislabelled? Can anyone confirm if this is a chilli pepper please?

I'm a bit worried about the shallow lobes that some leaves are showing. It makes me wonder if it is one of the nightshades. If those fruit turn black instead of red, I would NOT eat them.

Yes, from what I can see it's a chilli pepper. I can't tell you which type, but it looks just like mine - the round buds & white blossoms. Hope you get lots of peppers.
