what do i do with the seed heads on my agapanthus to make tham grow new plants

You could collect the dry seeds and have a go at planting them - but I think it takes a long time for them ro reach flowering size - and also, the resulting flowers are very unlikely to 'come true' - in other words, be the same as the parent plant. Worth trying, though if you're the patient type!
