I have just bought a Echinacea purpurea plant
Please tell me what to do with the plant after is has finished flowering ?.

You can leave the dead flower heads on, as they make a nice feature in the winter, and the birds like them, too. In the spring, just cut the stem to ground level and wait for new growth from the plant.
