Hello gardeners, i have a new camelia and as its been very cold moved to a sheltered area about a month ago. Have only just noticed how it has died off at the bottom. I will cut it off once i have shown it to you for your suggestions as to what may of caused it.

I wouldn't worry about it either, just cut the dead bits off,and the rest of the Camelia will be fine..

Hope you have it somewhere the morning sun won't shine on it. If the buds get frost on them and it thaws out too quickly in the sun it makes the petals go brown.
Love Camellias - hope it gives you many years of pleasure.
