Have this yellow powder on the leaves of my plant. Is this rust or something else? It seems to be taking over and killing my bottom leaves. Sprayed it with liquid copper and didn't help. Help!

If you moisten the dust, does it smell a little bit like honey? A swarm of bees may have camped out overnight above it. Rust normally appears only on the undersides of leaves.
