i don't see any mosaic mottlings, but my wisteria has been dropping abundant amounts of leaves all summer....yesterday i discovered aphids, hundreds of them!!! can this 8 year old plant be saved??

Well you can spray the plant with a suitable pesticide which will kill off the aphids.
