Paper white narcissus, amaryllis and hyacinths for starters. Poinsettias you will need to buy in but they are not expensive. I guess it would be possible to grown a Christmas cactus from seed or a cutting but not for this year. Really it is bulbs that you can grow.

And I would wait a bit to plant them, about 6-8 weeks before Christmas.

For Hyacinths? I'd be suggesting planting next month! Leaving somewhere cool and dark...
