Had to move climbing hydrangea from wall temporarily although kept root in tub undisturbed
When repositioned against wall now looks distressed/dead. Is it likely to recover? Only planted last year so quite a young plant

Yep, it's distressed. It's likely to recover but may take awhile. Just keep it watered, give it a couple weeks.
