Been given a Galtonia plant in July. After 2 weeks I notice strong leaves are beginning to look threadbare! Cut off offending leaf but now problem is travelling to the other leaves and strong stem. Can anyone offer advice please?

Galtonias are bulbs with either white or pale greenflowers. The leaves do tend to get a bit damaged by the time the flowers are out. Otherwise, suspect snails or very occasionally leaf miners.
