Frost has interrupted the put away. Some begonia tubers were brought in but some not. With the frost can I wait for a thaw. Ground rock solid for last 2 days.

Well you'll have to, if the ground is frozen solid, though if the corms themselves have frozen, you might find they're no longer viable when you dig them up.

That's pretty weird - the temperature isn't below zero C, so I can see its cold and you've probably got heavy frost, but the soil should not be frozen, unless its waterlogged, but even then, freezing when the temps are above freezing isn't right...
