my friend has a bush in her garden which she thinks is called "petrosca". it has tall purple coloured fern like flowers and smells of lavendar or rosemary. can you help as I cannot find it listed anywhere

Answers
There is a plant called Petrovskia, or Russian Sage. Perhaps that is it. It has blue/ mauve flowers and is a member of the mint family.
