My small cabbage plants in pots in my polytunnel have small holes in the leaves what has caused this

look under the leaves do you have caterpillars? it is the right time of year for them. could be slugs too

How small? If they are very small and there are lots of them especially around the edges, they might be flea beetle.

You might have to come out after 10:00 pm with a torch to find the culprits.
