How large does a twisted corkscrew willow grow and can you cut it back without harming it

Answers

Salix matsudana 'Tortuosa'? Eventually 20-25 m tall and wide. Cutting it back requires some artistic ability, because it doesn't work well with that pollarded look.

Salix babylonica 'Crispa'? About the same. A little easier to cut back, since, other than the twisted leaves, it's a straight weeping willow, but that also takes some experience.

I would give them both plenty of room and water, though S. matsudana is slightly more drought tolerant.
