Three mysterious holes have appeared in our elderly plum tree - one above the other - about the size and shape of hen's eggs - no sign of insect activity - could this be a woodpecker - haven't managed to spot it if it is - can't tell how deep these holes are - too high up



Could possibly be a woodpecker... we get one as an occasional visitor to our garden
