I have a twisted willow tree which has a lot of insects eating away at the bark, i have cut some of it off but would like to save the rest of tree. What should i use to spray the tree with?

You can buy ultrasonic cat scarers but they work over quite a wide radius so if you have close neighbours with cats it might cause problems.

thank you I will try and take photo of insects. Also I do have a cat scarer that sends out a noise but it doesn't seem to be go far enough. My garden is 53ft long. I am thinking of getting some of those metal cat faces with glass eyes to see if they will put the cats off!

can you take a photo of the insects and the bark? then hopefully we can give you the best advice.
