i have just constructed a 12 x 25 ft polytunnel in the highlands of scotland. We have very short daylight hours in the winter so I was considering some form of supplementary lighting. I have a number of sun bed tubes with fittings and wonder if the light emitted would be suitable or not.

Fruitful I doubt that sun bed tubes will be any use but what are you planning on growing in your polytunnel in winter?
