What was the shrub they were attacking? Could it be a Viburnum?

Thanx for trying to help me,thought you could zoom in on pic,it was a large green shrub with large leaves.Don't know much do i lol.

Dave when you post a photo what you see is what we see! Crop the image to just the container and put up again but, given that you have no idea what the shrub was, it is unlikely we can help you.

I'd more interested in seeing a photograph of the shrub they were infesting - I wouldn't recognise a viburnum beetle if my life depended on it, but I would recognise a viburnum that was damaged by it.
