how do i prune a mimosa pudica

On plant Mimosa pudica

Answers

Welcome, Michael!
I wouldn't take off more than 1/2 of the foliage at a time--unless it's growing outdoors in Florida or San Diego, where it may have enough energy to come back from a stump. I would give it a light feeding afterward to repair the damage.
