I brought these plants together, planted them together in the same sized pots and they have had the same feed. Can anyone please explain why one is bigger than the other its driving me mad. Also does anyone know there name as doh me i threw the name tags away and i cannot remember what they said.I have had a beer or two since then lol.

Not too sure Mark.....are they a herb? Could be Oregano.....should be producing flower buds now if they are....

They look like Chrysanthemums to me. They could be two different varieties of them hence the difference in size?

Hi janey and fractal thankyou for your inputs.I know they are not herbs as my wife would not know what to do with them lol.So they probably could be different types of chrysanthemums.Thankyou to you both.

I agree with Fractal, they do look like chrysanthemums. One of them could be classed as a mini chrysant , but these are only kept mini by being sprayed to keep them small, but once the spray has been washed off by the rain or watering, they grow to their natural size. This usually happens in the 2nd year. We were told this information at a well known flower market in London !!!!
