why are the leaves on my rambling rector going yellow

Depends what you mean by yellow - if you mean yellowing between the veins, which remain green, that's a shortage of certain nutrients, if you mean completely yellow all over and then dropping, that's something else, which is why Drc above is asking for either a photo or more information.
