There are strains of gooseberry that grow larger become a pale yellow/green colour and can be eaten without cooking - absolutely magical

Where've you been under the gooseberry bush? Also red ones yummy in all most anything soft fruit can be used for but needs plenty of sugar, more than a bit on the tart side.

Yes its a bush that has small green fruit in summer make great crumbles or fools.
