i have an acer plant and went away for a week and my husband forgot to water it int the hot weather. i think it has withererd and i want to know if it will grow back.

Put it in a shady spot, if it's in a pot, or rig up some temporary shade netting if it's planted in the ground. Keep it well watered for a couple of weeks (preferably with rainwater) and new leaves should grow. Water it even if it rains, as this may not be enough for it.
