I have planted morello cherry,braeburn apple,conferance pear and plumb in large tubs, all was excellent, leaves growing etc, but the cherry looks like it has severe wind burn, but we havent had wind since i have planted them. help please

Could be hot sun frying the leaves, specially if you got water on them while the sun was out. also watering generally, contained plants will need a fair amount in a heatwave.
