i have got a lot of flowers on my cucumbers but the flowers seem to be on little stems and not attached to fruit do i leave these flowers on or do i take them off

if they are just thin stems - and do not have a tiny thin miniature cucumber as part of the stem then they are male. If they are outdoor cucumbers leave them on and the female flowers should all come out within a few days - then they will do their thing! If however they are indoor cucumbers - usually an F1 type - then they should not produce male flowers and you can remove them. Check the seed packet or the name of the cucumber to find out what sort it is.
