has any body had success with 'grazers' pest repellent? It is supposed to deter birds from eating brassicas.

The only birds I know that peck a brassicas are pigeons... wouldn't it be easier to hang things (like free unwanted Cds/DVDs to scare them away? Reading up on seems to be aimed primarily at rabbits and deer.
