I have just bought 4 Eleagnus Benngei the leaves are going yellow and dropping it is not the natural varigation. They are 11/2 mt high, and where planted just three days ago. Are they sick.

Probably just old leaves dropping out. This is the time of year for many evergreen trees and shrubs to lose their old leaves. Give them a really good soak once a week and they should settle in fine (don't water more than this unless your soil is very sandy. Perhaps autumn or spring should have been chosen for planting them rather than mid summer but you may not have had the option.
