Can someone let me know anything about Anemone's, I had some lovely flowers this year but the plant has gone right back now looks dead do i cut back to base then it will come on again next year ?

this sounds like an early flowering species. Once they die back there is nothing you can do as they are now dormant. certainly cut back the dead growth to improve the appearance of the plant.
