Replacing/returfing my lawn

I plan to replace my lawn with new turf in September. My garden is south facing in Kent. there is no material problems, just old grasses and not very level. Is this a good time to do this? If not, when would you advise?

you can lay turf anytime in spring to autumn, but in the heat of summer it will need a lot of watering, so end of sept. would be fine.
