After buying a reputable root/stump killer. It says on the back that when applying to freshly cut stumps, to not apply when the sap is active. Is this because ( yes, perhaps it does seem obvious on typing ) active sap is going to flush the killer away ? Unlike a crystal form I've used in the past which is going to remain in situ. Cheers.
