When they are ripe, don't keep them until next spring sow them straight away or let them seed.

I've just sown some of perennial honesty

Many thanks! I was pressing the seeds from their cases thinking 'now is the time', then looked up Lunaria in my leaflet from Sarah Raven which says sow in May/June/July which surprised me. I think mine are biennial which maybe makes a difference. I'm planning to sow most direct, but put a few into modules.
