I have a torbay palm and just notice the bark on the trunk
is starting to come off, there are a few woodlice as well,
is there anything i should be doing?

Not much you can do - is the plant otherwise healthy and growing well? Only the likely cause of this is damage from the very cold winter we had, but I'd expect you to say the topgrowth was looking a bit dodgy too.
