I just recently bought a Rodgersia 'Red Hybrids' and am wondering if anyone can tell me if they like to be submerged in the water garden or just placed along the pond. My tag says "in water gardens" but everything I read suggests not placing it directly in the water...I am confused - help please :)

In moist/boggy ground near to the pond but not actually in the pond.
