hi ihave bought deutzia strawberry fields and the plant is heavy in flower but has the branches have all flopped down, They are in a pot. Would they need to be staked/supported?

Sounds like it, doesn't it? never grown it myself, but I've seen pictures, and it does seem as if the flowers weigh the branches down. Try inserting one of those frame things (green wire, 3 or 4 legs with a couple of hoops horizontally) for next year before it flowers
