Torquay Palm - 10yr old - this June the leaves have all turned brown - even new green shoots have now also gone brown. i do not want to losr it - what do i need to do?

Sorry, but this is due to the bad weather. I and everyone I know has lost their palms this year. Even a 30 year old one my neighbour had, died with the harsh weather.

Nothing you can do - as long as its not suffering from serious drought, which is unlikely, this is a result of the harsh winter, I'm afraid. You might find it dies completely, or that new growth appears from the base.
