Can any one identify this plant please, It is full of one of my tubs, thought first before it cam into flower it was bugle but now it's opened out and the leaves are different. I don't know where it has come from in such profusion in 1 tub

it is indeed prunella vulgaris. I grow the white form in pots and MN grows her native purple form in the grass [sigh only when OH winges about the weedy grass ;o)]

Thanks to you all, it is such a mystery where it came from, never seen it before, and so strange it is full of one pot looks as though it has been sown by hand , but I certainly have never bought those seeds. Thanks Eileen for the name now I can really dig in deep and read all about it.
