Hard to tell from here, could it be a reed such as Juncus. I'd spend a bit of time just pulling it out.

If it is Juncus, they like wet ground so you might have a drainage problem

I agree its a juncus. and that the drainage is poor. you need to dig it out and then aerate the lawn etc
