hello all,i have not been on here for a while but im still watching,i love perssimmin fruit and my dad bought me a bare root tree for a prezzie,i followed the instructions,soaked for 24hrs,planted with plenty of feed and keep the roots cool and its not doing a thing,its now been 2mths and im worried my dad has wasted £25,has anybody any advice

yay its green,i dont like bare root stock,im never sure about it,i will just leave it and see how we go

Bare root can take time to leaf out as the plant is concentrating on root growth. Keep it watered and it should be ok.

Scratch the trunk to check if it is green or not underneath. Green is good, brown is not. If dead then I would ask for a replacement plant from the place bought from.
