Hi everyone, I have a annoying rockeryweed that spreads everywhere, dont know how it first appears or what from grows in chippings and everywhere. It starts low growing little brown leavwe like four leaf clover and now starts to develop small yellow flower. does anyone know what this is and how l can stop this returning and get rid of it now, digging it out waste of time, tried millions of times. Weed killer has no effect either. Thankyou everyone its doing our heads in.

It's an Oxalis, can't remember which one but the only thing you can do is keep digging it out - sorry.

Definitely not mind your own buisnesss, how to to deal with it is to dig it out or if using weedkiller then roundup does the trick.

I agree. It is an absolute nuisance. You have to keep on top of it and pull out the roots wherever you see it. As I am not too well this year, and have to rely on others to help in the garden, I can see it has popped up in a lot of places. Horrible thing. I am afraid to use weedkiller so near to other plants (Also I'd be afraid to ask my Helpers to do that come to think of it). Yes, pull the roots up the minute you see it.

Trouble is that the roots have tiny bulb like features on them so as you pull it up you are actually increasing the number of plants. I use a Weedwand (flame gun) to burn off the plants, at least it stops them seeding around.

Bulba assiduously digs every bit he can out, it gets far to close to other plants for us to risk using a weed wand.

Popular name in some places is Sleeping Beauty. It even seds into pot plants in the conservatory, goodness knows how.

How do I say thanks?
