Yes I did all I can remember is to make sure they are raw ones and plant 2-3" deep in rich sandy soil.

Lol Ladyessex1 - I dont like peanut butter!
Chris, haven't had any luck so far.
They grow underground don't they?

They must be uncooked Great, roast ect will not grow, they need a lot of water to grow and take a long time.
Flower pot 6-8 inches in diameter with drainage holes fill with sandy loamy soil, soak peanuts in water overnight, Plant three peanuts about 2" deep cover firmly with soil but do not compact it. Keep the soil moist and maintain a temperature of at least 65 degrees F and in direct sunlight. They should sprout in five - 10 days. The flowers should appear about 6 weeks after the plant has emerged.

Lol vounteer. No intention of becoming president. Cant stand politics!!!! Dont think Jimmy Carter would bother with me Hijuju lol
I have seen them advertised in T&M but have had problems with them so wont bother. Why I asked; I bought my daughter a peanut growing kit to get her into Gardening, thought I would tap into her enthusiacium for feeding the birds and thought if she grew plants for the birds it would fire up aan interest in other plants.

The climate in UK is probably not really warm enough, like for olives. We grow the trees but they don't give big enough fruit. Otherwise I'm sure someone would have started to grow them by now. More for novelty value really. Let us all know how you get on though.

nothing to report so far

Yes! They grow underground, I grew mine years ago in a greenhouse, but that was 30yrs passed, if I remeber? all I done was put them in compost, watered a few times a week and waited and they grew and had yellow flowers like a Broom Shrub flower if I remember rightly.
