Hi there, We have a red cordyline which regrew around the trunk, 3yrs ago as it died in the bad winter we cut the old trunk to ground level. Now 3yrs on it looks fantastic, from ground level and developed a good height. But still no sign of a new trunk! does anyone no will a new trunk eventually grow under the new growth. Thankyou for your reply

yes, the plant will develop trunks beneath each crown of growth - it'll develop trunks quicker if you remove some of the crowns of growth, so if you have several, cut off some to leave 2 or 3 to grow on.

How do I say thanks?
