You can hollow parts of the log out and put some plants in, or stand potted plants on them, also place ornamental birds, mushrooms insects or whatever takes your fancy on them. You could put some them in a shaded part of your garden maybe under a tree/shrub for insects to make a home in them.If you go to my photo's you will see i have an owl and ornamental mushrooms on my logs.'
