Dear All,

I have rhubarb and it has grown a flower can you tell me do i leave the flower or cut it off?. Also why has this happened? how can i stop it in furure.

Cut it off down to the base of the crown as it will go to seed and you could loose it, well that was what I was told on here.

ive lost countb the amount of times this has come up.
just pull the stem out (the one with the flower on).You can NOT stop this from happening.
Keep pulling the other stems up and cook them , the more stems you pull up to eat the more i find you will not have a stem going to seed.
Believe me i have been growing this for the last 30+ years
