Where to plant clematis integrifolia? Am stuck for a place, and have suddenly thought maybe to put it in my rockery, and let it scramble up the ivy on the garage wall. Rockery is in full sun from early afternoon until evening, subsequently can get quite dry. Do you think it will do okay here?

clematis prefer to have a cool root run so this may not be the best site. see what others think.
