I think you might find that some rain will help it along....if you don't get much where you are, then have the hose on it.

Yes been very dry and may have scorched your lawn as Spritz says a drop of rain would be welcome perhaps not all B/H week end though.

Wonder too if your weed and feed contains moss killer ? This will turn patches of moss black and is quite normal.
