I want to plant a flowering evergreen shrub/tree to grow to about 6ft on a north east facing wall. I like ceanothus but would it grow & flower.Do you have any alt suggestions?

Viburnum tinus is very tough and flowers from December to April. You don't say where you are - it could make a difference.
