Get a bigger pot, remove the plant from its current pot, place compost in the new pot at the bottom, put the plant in, fill in the sides with new compost to the existing level of soil round the plant. You may need to tease out coiled roots before repotting, and you can also split the plant in two and pot the two sections separately if you want. Water well.
