euphorbia not sure which yet

also called the mole plant as it is meant to deter moles. a colleague says not :o(

could be euphorbia mellifera.

We know it as gopher purge, other names are caper spurge, paper spurge, and mole plant. Its botanical name is Euphorbia lathyris. We use it to repel gophers from our veggies: its roots have a caustic sap, so gophers (and moles, presumably) don't like to burrow through them. One plant will protect an area 1 1/2 meters across.
