My wallflowers are wonderful this year. how can I keep them? I have
very little spare ground and want to plant other annuals in their space.

Wallflowers are biennial meaning that the ones that are flowering now will, mostly, die back and that will be it. If you are lucky they will have seeded. I suggest you plant the annuals around them for now.
