Cut off some of the ivy that has some roots coming from the stem that has been lying on the ground, or take a simple rooted bit. Place directly into the hanging basket around the sides . you can pinch out the stem if it is too long and it will bush up more. Alternatively take cuttings and place in a green lager bottle .... drink and enjoy larger first.. Fill bottle with water stick cuttings in and leave to shoot roots when long enough roots gently take out and put into soil.
