supposed to be two yrs old when i bought it last year in one of these newspaper ads.never flowered,no bullfinches round these parts! but it,s growing well,about 8ft,should i prune it?

Has it ever flowered? How long have you had it, how old is it? the last frost may have caused them to drop off. Or you may have bullfinches eating them.
